FEES
Tour fees vary depending on high and low seasons
and the number of tourists in each group. Information
on fees can be obtained from all major local travel
agencies or our office in Xiamen, PRC.
Fees include flight tickets mentioned in the
itinerary, coach, shared twin bedroom in three
stars or better hotel, meals, admittance fares
and Chinese tour guide.
Fees do NOT include personal expenses, tips for
driver and tour guide, optional activities, telephone
bills, beverages, laundry, and any extra incurred
due to loss of passport, traffic delays, natural
disasters, strikes or any other inevitable events.
RESERVATIONS
AND PAYMENT
Procedures in booking your STARLIGHT TRAVEL to
New Zealand
Book through your local major travel agency.
Choose our STARLIGHT TRAVEL itinerary and available
departure date that suit you.
A deposit of USD200 per person is payable at the
time of booking with the balance due three weeks
prior departure( or refer to the requirements
of local agency).
CANCELLATIONS
AND REFUNDS
1. The company reserves the right to cancel any
trip in extraordinary situations.
If this happens, all the fees paid will be refunded.
The company bears no further responsibilities
to such happenings.
2. In the event of the cancellation required by
the other party, a US$200 charge per
person is payable to our company if the request
is made 48 hours prior to
the departure. If the request for cancellation
is made within 48 hours prior to the
departure, then 50% of the fees paid should be
refunded. However, if the
cancellation is requested after departure, then
no refund is available.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The company the its agents bear no responsibilities
to any loss, damage or extra fees incurred due
to natural disasters, traffic accidents, strikes,
bad weather and loss of personal belongings. In
the event of the extreme situations, the company
reserves the right to make any necessary changes
to the itinerary.
OTHER INFORMATION
1. Passport
All visitors to New Zealand must carry a passport
that is valid for at least 3
months beyond the date you intend to leave the
country.
2. Visa
Tourists form China need to obtain a visitor visa
from the New Zealand Immigration Service in Beijing
or Shanghai. You may apply your visa from NZIS
through your local travel agency.
3. Customs and Quarantine Notes:
Prohibited and restricted goods include: weapons,
objectionable articles, illicit
drugs/drug paraphernalia, endangered species of
Flora and Fauna.
You are required to declare any of the following
items: animal and animal
products such as meat products fresh or cooked,
dairy products, egg products,
etc.; plants and plants products such as fruit
and vegetables fresh/dried/frozen/or
cooked; nuts, seeds, mushrooms, bamboo, etc.
Failure to make a correct declaration may result
in a fine of up to $100,000
or imprisonment for up to 5 years.
4. Climate
New Zealand's seasons are the reverse of that
in the Northern Hemisphere. The
warmest months are December, January and February,
while the coldest are
June, July and August. Average temperatures range
between 15-25 degrees Celsius
in summer (December, January and February) and
5-15 degrees Celsius.
