Day 1 Auckland/Christchurch We meet the tourists
at Auckland airport, then transfer and fly to the "
Garden City" of Christchurch. You will enjoy the
Park, garden and English character architecture, Christchurch
Centre, museum, Antarctic Centre. Overnight in Christchurch.
Day 2 Christchurch/ Punakaiki/Fox Glacier Today
we drive across the Canterbury Plains and travel through
snowcapped peaks of southern Alps to Punakaiki to view
the fascinating pancake rock formation. Then we visit
Sandy Town, a restored gold mining town of 1860's where
you pan for gold, ride on the steam train. After lunch,
we go to greymouth to a Greenstone Factory to see craftsmen
cutting and polishing giant boulders to create fine
jewellery. Then travel to Fox Glacier and Overnight
in Fox Glacier town.
Day 3 Fox glacier/Wanaka/Queenstown Today we
visit Lake Matheson and explore the township; we take
for a walk at the foot of the glacier;
You may choose to take a helicopter ride over the glaciers.
Then we drive south along the coast and travel through
Westland National Parks ,Haast Pass into Mt Aspring
and Wanaka lake to Queenstown. Overnight in Queenstown.
Day 4 Queenstown/Te Anau Today you have some
free time to enjoy this fabulous resort and to take
part in some optional activities such as: thrilling
jet boating on the rivers; white water rafting; helicopter
rides through River Chamsms; bundy jumping; cruising
on the lake and so on. Later afternoon, our tour coach
take you to Te Anau. Overnight in Te Anau.
Day 5 Te Anau/ Milford Sound/Dunedin Today we
travel to the World Heritage Fiordland National Park,
from the Homer Tunnel we emerge Into the Cleddau Valley
, we take a Milford Sound Red Boat Cruise for an unforgettable
experience to explore the wonder of this majestic fiord.
Afternoon we pass the rich farmlands of South Otago
which lead you to Dunedin. Stay one night in Dunedin.
Day 6 Dunedin/Oamaru This morning we embark on
a brief Dunedin city sightseeing tour and drive to the
Beautiful Otago Peninsula to visit wildlife in this
area and Penguin Place to watch yellow eyed penguin.
After lunch we travel north along the coast and stop
to view the unique Moeraki Beach Boulders, enormous
round rocks embedded in the sandy shore. Then we head
for Oamaru and overnight in Oamaru.
Day 7 Oamaru/Mt Cook/ Christchurch/Auckland Today
we travel up to the Mt Cook village in the heart of
the Mt Cook National Park. We continue along the shore
of Lake Pukaki and pass Lake Tekapo with its brilliant
turquoise colourings. Then crossing the Canterbruy Plain
to Chistchurch to catch a flight to Auckland.
Notes:
1. The quoted price is for each person in over 6-people
groups. Any group fewer than 6 people is required to pay
an extra fee of 10-20%.
2. The price includes transportation for scheduled tours,
meals, hotel, admissions and the service of tour guide
.
3. Tourists are to share twin-bed rooms. For those who
require single-bed rooms, an extra surcharge of NZD70.00
per night is required.
4. Children between the ages of 2-12 are charged 80% of
adult fees.
5. Tips for the guides, drivers and porters are not included
in the charged fees. It is recommended that each visitor
should pay NZD 6.00 per day to the guide and the driver.
6. The company reserves the right to make any change of
the scheduled tour due to extreme climate changes or natural
disasters.
